Was just curious if Disney does anything on 9/11 to remember all who were lost on that terrible day:sad1: ?
Seven years later and we will never forget all those who were lost including my 343 brothers in arms in the FDNY:sad1: .

I believe I've read they do some sort of flag ceremony, not sure exactly what though. Perhaps it's the same one the do every day but raise it to half mast?

I was at WDW last year on 9/11, and I don't remember anything special happening. There may have been something slightly different about the flag ceremony on Main Street, but I think that was it. :confused3

Like you, the memory of that day is still very fresh in my mind. I was a United Airlines flight attendant up until a few months before the event, and a number of my former colleagues and friends were lost that day.

I wake up and thank God for my freedom and think about what happened that frightful day. Knowing how our country changed forever. And question WHY.. Why did this happen to innocent.

I can't answer your original question about Disney but as a fellow firefighter to those who were lost you might like to know that even people outside of the USA remember this sad day. In Sept 2006 we stopped in Plymouth, England and went to the sight where the pilgrims had set sail to the USA. We were shocked to find that the people of Plymouth had placed memorial wreaths at that sight dedicated to the memories of their friends in the USA who died on 9/11. Here some pics we took if you're interested:

Sorry those pictures posted so big. I tried to shrink them but I messed something up.

Not sure if they are doing anything this year, but in the past they have had an "enhanced" flag retreat at the MK at 5:00.

They brought in the Voices of Liberty, a very touching ceremony!

I was there on 9/11/02 at Epcot, and remember that they broadcast Bush's speech live throughout the park. Everyone stopped what they were doing and listened. I remembered it was very moving to me because I was standing next to a little English boy and his mother, and being from England and so tiny he didn't really understand what was going on. She was trying to explain it to him and it was very sad, he was so sweet and concerned.
