Does DIS ever offer more than 1 gen'l disct at a time?

Since Dis announced a "Free Park Hopping and Water Park Fun & More" offer during my upcoming stay (which includes FREE Park Hopping and Water Park Fun included with theme park admission when booking a Magic Your Way package at a Disney Resort for travel from 3/30 - 5/21), is it possible they'd offer something else in addition to the general public or do I have to just hope their might be a code attached to my name? (The current offer doesn't do it for me - I'm hoping to upgrade from a moderate to a deluxe hotel without much price difference.)

Don't expect anything else with the current discounted offer. If something else comes up and you decide to use the new offering, then your existing discounts will be forfeited and a new package will be created with the new PIN/Code. Disney will generally not offer a discount on a package and let you add an additional discount on top of that. It is VERY RARE to find a situtation where this will occur.

personally, I didn't take the offer! it was more $$ than the AAA pkg. rate (and the park tix I kept since the 1990s). so i guess this is it then - take it or leave it... and I left it on the table.

It's really hard to say what else will show up, but something could I think it depends on how well sales go - for example, last year this second deal for April 15-May 23 opened up on March 8, 2007, after the previous offers for April - May had already been out:

Disney has announced new discount codes for room-only and package stays for mid-April through late May. It appears that the discounts are approximately 15 percent off of value and moderate resorts and 25 percent off of deluxes. (Values start at $84 per night.) The rates are valid April 15-19, April 22-26 and April 29-May 23. Use rate code BUC, for room-only reservations. For Magic Your Way packages, use ZHD, and use ZHE to add dining to your package. You'll have to book these rates by April 14.

Annual passholders and Florida residents have longer to book their discounted rates, as their rates are available through the end of the promotional period, subject to availability. Passholder and resident discount dates are for most nights from April 15-19 and April 22-May 24. Passholder rates start at $10 less per night than the regular discounts (as low as $74 per night for value resorts), while Florida resident rates are $5 less than the regular discounts (as low as $79 per night for values). Full hook-up campsites for RVs start at $55 per night for passholders, $60 per night for Florida residents.

I'd keep an eye out clear into March (and beyond) just in case!
