Does DCL hold back any onboard booking rezzies?

So... today was the Platinum/Concierge book date for online activities, and I heard from one of them on our cruise (I am Silver) that the character meet and greets and character breakfast are all gone. That just seems... weird for a 7 day cruise with more than one day offered for those activities. Does DCL hold back slots for gold, silver, and/or first time or should I write those off and look for other things (assuming anything at all is left after Gold) when I get to my booking window at midnight a month from now?

The only reservations I've heard of that they hold back some are for Palo and Remy.

Anything else, it's possible that they may add additional character meets for booking onboard. It's a good idea to keep checking online until you head for the ship. And then ask onboard, if nothing has opened up in the meantime.

That seems unusual and sounds more like a glitch than all the pre-booking spots being already taken. I would bet more slots and/or days/times get added.

It didn’t even cross my mind there may have been a glitch but that would make more sense, especially given Disney’s track record on tech failures! I mean, I could see the sea day frozen meet and greet getting booked up by platinum, but the frozen meet and green on castaway cay too??? That judt seems improbable.

It might also be a mistake by the person reporting the information. Since you can only book one of each, if you do book them then try to book another, they might seem unavailable for you.
