Does Cucumber Melon Body Wash Smell Like Fresh Paint?

I don't know - cucumbers just don't equate with fresh smelling bodies to me.

But that said, I've tried a few different cucumber/melon washes and they all seem to smell like a newly opened can of paint. I would not BUY these conconctions, but DD often gets them as gifts, and I can't see throwing them out.

BBW is the one I have in my shower right now. And despite it's price tag, it smells the MOST like fresh paint.

I LOVE cucumber melon. I could never smell the melon, only the cucumber.

But I'm allergic to scented body washes and soaps and things and I can't use it.

I won some watermelon bath stuff at a babyshower a couple months ago. It was some brand I didnt recognize. It was horrible, and now that you mention it, yes it smelled a little like paint. I threw it out.

I'm too cheap to throw it out - but I've found a new way to use it up quickly - I'm using it as shaving cream - anything to get rid of it faster.

I received it from my DSIL's family as a gift this year. Last year someone else in there family gave me some also. I don't like it either. I want to smell pretty, not like a salad! They also gave me something else that is another brand that I know must be a re-gift. Oh well.

To me, the whole "Food As Body Wash" thing is a really weird idea. I don't like smelling like anything that is usually edible.

lol i make bath salts for fun and i bought a fragrence oil that is called juicy lime. well it really doesn't smell like limes it is a strong smell like a cleaner a jaintor would use now i don't want to smell like a bathroom cleaner so i don't use that scent anymore.
I do like the cucumber and melon though it really refreshing to me never thought it smelled like wet paint
