We had another great stay at CSR! We've stayed there many times, but this was our first trip there in December & thought the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Our room was in Cabanas 8B-our favorite section to stay in. The transportation was great as always--we had to stand only once, on a closing time bus from Epcot.
We were given anniversary pins at check-in & wore them throughout our stay. One day we returned to our room to find a photo card signed by Beast & Belle & a nice balloon arrangement. Mousekeeping arranged some of the items in our room in delightful, romantic ways during a few days of our stay. Since we go to WDW every Spring, we concentrated on the Holiday events & visiting the other resorts to view the decorations. We took advantage of the daily 82 degree weather by spending about 3 hours at the pool every day! It was a pleasant surprise to find the Dig Site slide open every day,after reading it would be closed most of our stay. Love the food at Siesta's. We split the delicious Chicken Caesar Wrap Basket 3 times, and had the outstanding Nacho Basket (ground beef, lettuce, tomato, & cheese sauce-with salsa, sour cream & peppers on the side) 2 times. These menu items are the best of their type we've had anywhere. The fries at CSR are great! The Fiesta Margarita at Siesta's is sweet & we like them better than Epcot's version.
Pepper Market food was very good, too. We also spent a lot of relaxing, romantic time in the hammocks.
CSR is our favorite resort, & if only they would return the bus service to the Boardwalk we would never be tempted to stay anywhere else! We will be back in April.
