I don't know if I should plan CP for our last night or not. I think it would be a great way to end but if there a chance it could get rained out maybe that isn't such a great plan. Any thoughts?

Yes they have canceled the show in the past due to weather.

It happened to us on 12/10. The offered to give us passes for another show that evening and we did change our dining around. That I wish we would not have done as our original PS was for LeCellier at 7:10 (we were the 5:45 CP) and we were starving when it was rained out. The only thing available was Alfredeo's and it was pretty bad. People were totally FREAKING out that the show was cancelled due to the rain:rolleyes: The CMs were trying their best but people were just hammering them. Guess they did not understand the safety of the performers walking into the theater in the pouring rain and lightening:mad:

Everytime I have purchased the package, 6 times now, the CM tells me the show goes on rain or shine. I have often thought how miserable it would be to have to see it in the rain. Good to know they offer alternative shows.

Basically it does go on rain or shine but if there are severe thunder and lightening they will cancel any performance due to safety factors. After all it is the lightening capital of the US.

They DO cancel.. .never make it for your last night! We were cancelled on xmas eve in 2002 and they let us reschedule for the day after xmas (xmas was booked). It poured that night and the park was a swimming pool! We had to go back to guest services at the entrance to reschedule. We had already had dinner and everything so just had to reschedule the show itself.

There were people there that were pretty mad as it was their last night and didn't understand that the show itself is free and since they had eaten dinner there was no refund because they weren't going to see the show...

I wouldn't schedule it on your first night either. It amazes me when people schedule non-refundable things for their first night after flying in. Like their plane lands at 2:00, can they make it to hoop-de-doo by 5:00? Even in perfect weather, planes have delays and cancellations.
