Does Costco sell a 2009 CityPass?

I'm wondering this too and I'm guessing we'll just have to wait and see. They've always carried these in the past as far as I know and so I'm guessing they will again once the 2008 once expire in January.

I know CityPass recently listed the 2009 passes for $259.00, up from $247.00 for 08. I think Costco should start getting them in the next month or so. I still see the 08 passes on their website.

No problem! If I see them on sale at Costco or online, I will put a post here to let everyone know.

UPDATE: As of this morning, Costco now lists the 2009 CityPass tickets. The cost is now $227.00 for Adult and $192.00 for Kids. Looks like an increase of $10.00 over last year.

Hope this helps! :)

If the ONLY places she's going are Universal and DLR in February, she might not want to get the citypass. From Jan 4 to some day in April, DLR has the "play for the kid's price" deal, so her 3 day hopper would only be 149.

The price for a "buy one day get an extra day free" ticket, good to the end of this year, is only 67 at Universal, so she might want to see what the cost of the tickets are for '09, to make sure it's a deal.

If those two are the ONLY places she wants to go. Obviously if she wants to go to the other places, it makes sense to get the citypass, but those two are the only ones you mentioned. :)

Thanks, Molly. I'm not sure what their plan is...I should probably keep out of it, since she isn't even trying to save money, but you know how it goes when you're a Disneymaniac. They're staying at DLH (no AP, no specials) and just going with whatever ticket and hotel prices they're quoted. It's 2 families. I know that they want to go to DL and Universal and they weren't sure what else they might do. It was hard for me to listen to "You know how everyone gets bored with Disneyland after the first or second day." I mentioned the CityPass and the AP deals but I doubt they'll pursue it anyway. She wanted to know how to save money but when I started telling her some of the tips I'd learned, she sort of cut me off and said, "Well, dh is handling all that."

Thanks anyway, though!! I was interested in the info myself for future reference.

I'm in pain. :headache:

You need a support group for having to hear that! I'm so sorry! :grouphug:
