Does Cinderella Deserve A Home

It was just brought to my attention that the castle as Disney World is not Cinderella's it is only named after her it is Cinderella Castle not Cinderella's Castle.

I don't understand why she can have Cinderella's Carrousel and a Cinderella's Royal Table but not Cinderella's Castle.

I am alone in this? How do you feel?

i'm still ticked that Cinderella has 2 castles, Aurora has 3, and the other princesses have zip! Where's Snow White castle, or Belle castle? This drives me crazy. Perhaps I should get out more.

According to Walt Disney in one of his early TV shows "Ultimate Disney Trivia Book page 136" the Castle at DisneyLand is Snow White's. Some how Sleeping Beauty stole it from her and now it the "Sleeping Beauty Castle. Cinderalla does'nt have one at all. She only has one named after her.

Know exactly where this one came from! (might have something to do with probably a possible pet peeve perchance?) I say she's got cash and pizzazz, let her find her own place... perhaps a small bungalow in Lake Buena Vista? (2003 censusopulation 16, much less crowded than MK)

A princess should have a castle!!! I think Disney should build more castles around the world (and a couple of Disney World/Lands to go with them) so all the princesses can have their own castle.

Now that's more like it. I cant believe how many Disney fans think she should be homeless or does'nt even deserve a castle.

Next thing you know they will be putting mouse traps in the MK to control the rodents. Is that why Mickey and Minnie have never married? They dont want them reproducing.

Also, Bell wasn't a princess and we don't know if she and the Beast/Prince got married. She could have been swept off her feet by Yogi Bear for all we know.

My thinking, the castle belongs to the royal family, but maybe they named it after Cinderella as a sign of love for her.

As for the other Princesses not having castles, I still don't understand why the one in Paris isn't Belle's. And then Tokyo and Hong Kong's are copies of the ones in Florida and California.

Well, since she married into Royalty then technically it would never be HER castle. So....perhaps another option on the poll should read "Should Prince Charming's Castle (or his father the King, but I don't recall his name!) be renamed for HIM".

As a commoner who married royalty she wouldn't inherit any of the wealth and property even if Prince Charming....well, died (so much for the happily ever after). She might become Queen, but it would be a title, not a legacy.


Of course, I doubt we'd all be up at dawn counting days on a calendar to go have dinner in Prince Charming's Castle. Now would we?

None of the castles "belong" to the princesses, they are all named after them. The MK and Tokyo Disney both have Cinderella Castle, DL and Hong Kong both have Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Paris has Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (The Castle of Sleeping Beauty).

None of this is saying they don't live there or anything like that, just that the castles are named after those princesses.

Keeping it light? I would think that Tinkerbell spreading poopy dust would make you feel heavy.

Well Dear old Cindy might be back to scrubbing floors soon. After all, did you those in charge of the castle funds are letting Walt Disney World "borrow" rooms there to let ... are you ready for this ... TOURISTS!!! spend the night there.

Oh the horror!! What's next, will we see her glass slipper on consignment!!
