I think I read somewhere that MVMCParade is only shown during the MVMCParty - until after the last MVMCParty in December, and then it replaces the Spectro parade until January 1st. Does anybody know if this is true?
We'll arrive in Orlando on Sunday evening, December 18th, so our first park day will be Monday, December 19th. We have tickets for MVMCParty on Tuesday, December 20th, so we were thinking of spending all day at Epcot on Monday, and sleeping in the next morning. However, since the last MVMCParty is December 20th, does this mean we won't get the chance to see Spectro unless we go to MK on Monday? At this point we don't have the hopper feature on our passes, so hopping to MK on Monday just to see Spectro isn't an option. However, Spectro seems like such a super parade that I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth spending the extra $35 or so (x 4)to add hopping - or if we should plan to use one of our park pass days to go to MK on Monday, and then go back Tuesday afternoon for the party. From what I've read, Mondays are crowded at MK - (though with all the changing about of EMH, which won't apply to us anyway, who knows what it will be like by then).
I realize that I'm trying to figure out some pretty intricate details for a trip that is still 6-1/2 months away, but I do love to plan. If anybody has any insight into this parade situation, I would really appreciate your sharing it.
I just thought of another question. Does anybody know when "Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas" starts showing? Is that a regular feature throughout December, or is it just available on MVMCP nights? I'm pretty sure that the Christmas version of Country Bear Jamboree starts earlier in the month, but I don't know about the "Night Before Christmas" show.
