Does Character dinning count as???

ok I pulled up the brochure on the dinning. There is counter service and there is table service, but what does the character dinning count as?? Would this fall under table service. I know this sounds like a dumb question but I just want to make sure I am understanding all the rules. Thanks

Character dining is in the table service restaurants. Special pricing, and the character meals are not included with all plans..so be sure to double check, just in case you have a meal plan.

EVERY character meal is covered in the Dining plan. They all count as one sit down meal, except Mickey's Backyard BBQ (this counts as a Dinner Show, and counts as two sit down meals). The BBQ technically isn't even a "character meal", although the characters do occasionally appear.

The ONLY character meet/greet that involves food that ISN't covered is the Ice Cream Social at Garden Grill. The cost, however, is less than $10 per person, so it wouldn't be cost-effective to spend a meal credit for.
