We are planning on seeing the World in May and have reservations for the CR. We have also already made our ADRs. If we change our minds and decide to stay offsite with friends, are our ADRs valid, or do we have to remake them?

Thanks

Hi,

Unless something has changed recently, cancelling a room reservation has never cancelled ADRs in the past.

Enjoy your trip!

Nope, I cancelled our trip this past November and had to separately cancel all of my ADR's. :goodvibes

I just did this the other day...cancelled son's hotel (room only) reservation cuz he's going to stay with friends instead, but he had lots of dinner reservations. They said cancelling hotel would have no effect on the ADRs...if I wanted to cancel those, they would transfer me. (He wanted to keep the reservations, because they'll still be in the parks the same days.)

I would make sure and ask, as they are using a new system that is tied directly to your reservation for anything after May 26, cancelling the room reservation may very well cancel any associated dining reservations. So after that date, most dining reservations are actually made right in your room reservation.

Cancelling your resort reservation does NOT cancel your ADR's....they are all in one system now but they are 2 seperate reservations.

:)

I have to respectfully disagree with this statement. There are many many people who make ADRs without having booked a room or a package.

In fact, unless you are taking advantage of the 90+10 rule, you do not need a reservation number to book ADRs.
