Does Bell move Luggage for split stays

We have a split stay and are traveling by plane. Will Disney still move our luggage?

Yes, they still transfer luggage as they did pre-COVID. No changes there, thank goodness!

The resort hotels have large refrigerator and freezer sections for Bell Services, so as long as you package items together and label them as needing refrigeration or freezing, they’ll be stored properly and proper care taken during transport.

Yes. They do it for all resort guests!

Interesting. Can you just set it up the day before and leave your luggage (so you can rope drop a park)? Or, do you need to wait for them to pick up your luggage?

You can call from your room and wait for them to come pick it up, or you can bring it down to BS yourself on the way to the park, it's up to you. So far as I know, it's not something you can set up the day before (although I wouldn't be surprised to hear that super VIPs can do that!).

We always take our suitcases down to bell services on moving day on our way to the park that we are going to. Doesn't take 5 minutes for them to log them in and take them away. So easy. We always stay DVC anymore and by the time our room is ready in late afternoon we head to the new villa, get to the room and call BS to have them bring our bags. By that time, we never have to wait more than the time it takes for them to get to the room.

Sadly they no longer do the pick up when you aren't there and drop off before you arrive option. You now have to call on both ends and wait in the room for bell services to arrive. I so miss the option where they just left the bags there for you!

Or you can just go directly to Bell Services to drop off/pick up. We've always preferred that to waiting around in our room.

Us too, but it helps when you have tall, muscular twin sons along on the trip!

This is usually what we do too. Except if we are at SSR. We will then sometimes have them pick up/drop off for us.
