Does Babies R Us do coupons?

I need some intel from some moms! I'm about to purchase a kind of high ticket item (pack and play) from a friend's registry for her shower. It's $119, which I'm happy to spend--but wouldn't mind a discount! Does Babies R Us ever send around coupons? For example, I'd never buy anything full price from LOFT because I know they'll have a % off coupon basically every week. Does BRU do that or should I just bite the bullet and buy the pack and play now? TIA!

They do, but it's typically 15 or 20% off a regular price item. They do price match so you might see if you can find it someplace online cheaper and price match. Something else you could do would be to look for discounted gift cards. I normally check out giftcardgranny (dot) com and compare to see who has the biggest discount on gift cards. I did this when we were upgrading our son's car seat. If you go this route Babies R Us takes Toys R Us gift cards as well so be sure to compare the two.

I also read that Babies R Us will accept a Buy Buy Baby or Bed Bath & Beyond coupon as they are one of their biggest competitors. You can find those almost anywhere!

They won't accept expired coupons, BB&B does.

They have 20% off a regular priced item on the website today only - Saturday/3/25. I didn't know there were so many different style pack and plays but the one that is 119 has the promo right under it.
