Does anyone's change reservation work?

I used to be able to change my hotel reservations online all the time and then a couple weeks ago it stopped working. Now when I click on it, it just refreshes the page and nothing happens. Does anyone's actually work? I want to change my reservation to the newly released discounts and don't really want to call to do it. Might just cancel and rebook it. :(

It has never worked for me. I've tried it every time since the option appeared, but nope.

Ugh, now I need to decide if I should call or just cancel and book the new one. It's the beginning of the month so theoretically I should get my refund from the old room to cover the new deposit.
 
Their system is very buggy. You should call them. Personally I've had mixed success and I do a lot of changing.
 

Ive changed my current reservation three times. Once to add a day, then to change hotels, then to add a discount. No problems at all.

If you do this in MDE, when you log in and select to change your reservation, you will see a button option that says “add current discount” (I forget the name of the promo). Just click the button and it’ll recalculate your room and apply the discount.

But when I click change reservation it doesn't take me anywhere, it just refreshes the page.
 
Maybe you need a certain browser or something. I used Google Chrome. Nothing seems to work in Internet Explorer anymore. Maybe try that?

I tried multiple browsers including Google Chrome and I tried incognito mode and it won't work. :(

A word of warning about the cancel and rebook. Once you cancel you might not be able to rebook. Rooms right now show no availability in most situations. You might have to call, at least you know you will still have your room.
 
Mine worked with Safari today. I was able to change my dates online.

This happened to me and I called. Their advice was to sign out and clear cookies. That helped. YMMV.
 
I used to be able to change my bookings online also, but about a year ago it started doing what yours is doing. It's maddening.

I tried all of the suggestions given by Disney IT, I tried Chrome,Firefox and Explorer. I have cleared my cookies/browsing history, tried on my phone, tablet and PC. Nothing works!

So now I have to call every time. It's a pain. :headache:
 
I'll share what happened to my family this AM... late last night I happened upon a better package (saw "Change Reservation") and was able to rebook it. It was too late to call my family members so I talked to them this AM.

We had 3 total reservations to change, and none of us at 9:15am today could see the "Change Reservation". We started talking about changing avatars etc so I offered to do that, I also tried multiple browsers and logged into their accounts for them to no avail. Got off the phone and said I would do some more research to ensure the package is still available. Happened to go back in to just double check mine one more time, and suddenly there it was - the golden "Change Reservation". Logged back in to the other family members accounts and was able to change everyone's successfully (this was about an hour after we originally started).

So, it just seems like trial and error, keep checking off and on. I really wouldnt't want to call right now, I'm sure it's absolutely insane with the website issues they are having, but it was worth being persistent.... worth $1200 for our family at least!!

I can see the change reservation button, it just sadly isn’t working correctly.

I think this is what I’m going to have to do. I tried so many different options and nothing is working sadly. Trying to figure out when to call that’ll have the shortest wait time
