Does anyone work for GE Money?

I just applied for a job at GE Money in Charlotte. I have worked in a call center before. It seems like it will be pretty much the same thing. If anyone has any experience with the company please let me know what you think of them. Is it a plesant work environment, is the pay fair. I'm from Buffalo so I don't really know what a fair rate is for call center work in Charlotte.

Unfortunately, all I know about them is that I spend two hours on the phone with them today because a computer glitch led to the "accidentally" suing my sister for non-payment...even though she's never missed a payment. I have to say that the lady I talked to was ever so nice and apologetic about it though.

Are you moving to Charlotte? or did you apply for the position to do it at home? The only reason I ask is that if you did the latter, your suppose to live within an hour or so from Charlotte. You have to train in house for a few weeks. Nevertheless, Good Luck.

We want to move to Charlotte. We've been going back and forth about it for a few years.

We were supposed to go down for a visit in 2005 we had our house for sale and everything, then I got sick and we cancelled the trip...turns out I was pregnant. We cancelled the trip, took the house off the market, life changed completely.

Now Jack will be a year old soon and we're ready for a change.
