Does anyone who how much luggage fits

Too bad it wasn't an excursion, we have one and it is pretty roomy. We have 2 tall DS's (both over 6') and they fit best in it. It has more room behind third seat than the expedition but also gets worse gas milage.

We rented an Expedition from Avis for our last cruise and WDW adventure. (They initially gave us a smaller SUV but there was NO WAY our crap was going to fit! Plus, the one car HHR didn't have a center seating position to mount the baby's infant carrier.)

4 adults and 1 infant (5 months):

• 6 large (29") pullmans
• 4 rolling carry-ons (22")
• 1 small duffel
• 1 rolling garment
• 1 Graco Quattro full sized stroller
• 1 Graco infant carrier
• 3 backpacks

It all fit though some of the items had to be held by one of the pax or placed on the floor in front of the baby.

Funny, we just looked into trading in our 04 Suburban for the 07 Expedition EL, but when I did the research our Suburban has a bigger cargo area and that the the reason why we upgraded from our 97 Expedition. The dealer near us wanted to give us $20K trade in value for our Suburban and they are trying to highball us on the prices of the XLT and Eddie Bauer so I don't think we are going to get the new Expedition EL (extra long) but it looks and drives reallly nice and it's an extra bonus with the touch button folding 3 rd row seats and tail lift.

In our Suburban we can fit 5 large hardcase Samsonite suitcases, 1 Eddie Bauer Stroller w/car seat carrier, 2 duffle bags, 3 back packs and 3 adults, 4 children( 2 toddler carseats and 2 children. We don't fold down our 3rd row since it's in use.

Yeah, the Expeditions and Tahoes have almost no room behind the third seat. Saw an Expedition EL going down the road yesterday, looks nice but have no idea how big the cargo area is. The $20k trade value caught my eye. The sticker price of my 1987 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton (with every option except power windows/locks and rear ac) was $19,700, and I paid $18,200 with tax the license, or about 6 months pay. A fully Last time I looked at a Suburban the sticker price was MORE than I make in a year. Of course it took me 10 years to work all the manufacturing bugs out of it, thank god they came with 6 year 60,000 mile warranties, the last 10 years have been pretty trouble free. Only have 123k on it so I may keep it another 20 years.
