Does anyone wear lime green ribbons?

Since we moved to Florida we have been to WDW a lot but I have never seen any ribbons. Went to MK yesterday and saw lots of lime green shirts, but no ribbons. Afraid to approach the "shirts." Will you be wearing ribbons for DISCON?

I havent seen any lime green ribbons in the past 5 yrs I have gone but then again i am guilty, I don't wear them either. I always hope i can find someone wearing it then I would approach them, call me shy.

I always have the ribbons...tied to my waist pouch, tied to the camera bag, and usually on a belt loop of my jeans or shorts.
I have to say though, most DISers usually recognize me before[ they see the ribbons though

I wear them everytime we go down to the world...My kids don't even know why I wear them!..I have never had anyone ask me..
I've only had one person ask me about my DIS Pin..that I got from the collector boards...that is how I met AngieBelle while she was working in the Magic Kingdom!..

But I do still wear them...

I won't be there for DISCON but I'll have my ribbons on in January. We have worn them the last 2 trips and have yet to meet anyone either...Still Looking Though!

Since I have learned about lime green ribbons I wear them every trip and have only run into one other person, actually she ran into me. I do have them on my suitcases, so no matter where I go when I travel I always have lime green ribbons.

I wore a lime green ribbon tied to my waistpack during our trip this past Aug. I plan on wearing it again during our upcoming Feb 03 trip.

I wear mine on my fanny pack and put it on my luggage, too. Didn't see any last year, but hope to this year with so many people going to be there.

I wear my ribbon. It's lime and I tie it in a bow. After meeting other DISers at WDW, I learned that I took 'lime' too seriously. I didn't know it was supposed to be fluorescent or neon green. Oh well.

The best technique I have found to meet DISers is to schedule a DIS meet or two. Works very well...

I agree with Olena- set up a DIS meet. Even if is it is long enough to say hi and chat a minute or two and then be on your way.

I made green Mickey head pins and wrote DIS on them and I hand them out to DIS'ers I meet. I hope to see some of those pins @ DIS CON. Do you hear that guys??? If you have one WEAR IT!!!!!

I hope to be able to hand more out w/in the next couple weeks. I guess I better make some!

I will be wearing my LGR from December 6th to the 14th, this will be my first time wearing it, so I was thinking of somehow attaching it to a Company D pin I have and wearing it on my shirt.

We will also attach some to my mom's fanny pack, our door handle at the ASMusic, knock if you see it......LOL
And to our luggage (hey there might be a Diser in the Airport)

I will wear a lime green lanyard. I approach anyone I see with lime green ribbons but they usually aren't DISers.

It's difficult to notice the thin ribbons sometimes.

Well, I wore one when I went 11/8-12 and I never saw anyone with a ribbon. I had my traveling companions looking for me too! I also saw alot of lime green shirts, but ribbons.

There must be ONE female DISer who's brave enough to wear this outfit to Epcot or the MK. Trust me.............any male DISer within 50 yards will spot you .........

I wear my ribbon every trip!! I havenever had anyone come up to me but I have met several disers!!! Alot do not wear exact "lime green" So If I see any kind of green ribbon I stop and ask!!!

When we went in Sept, I had lime green ribbon on my backpackand suitcase and so did DD. We didn't see anyone at WDW with green ribbons, but I just left it on my backpack, and have had people ask me about it..........no DIS'ers though. Just a matter of time I figure

I always have lime green ribbons tied on my backpack and waistpouch when I visit WDW.

I suspect you'll be seeing a lot of them at the R & C on the 4th, Marlasmom!
