Although it wouldn't hurt to pay-in-full now--very close to that date. I am waiting to 45 day mark. Does anyone wait until exactly the 45 day mark to pay the balance?

I wait until ALMOST 45 days but I pay with the Disney Visa so I get an additional 6 months at 0%. I've never taken the full 6 months to pay, but it is nice because I'll make equal payments over like 3 months and it makes it easier (and fits in our monthly budget rather than pulling money from our vacation account).

I never wait to the exact date as I wouldn't want to take a chance that I might miss the date, but I usually wait pretty close. This year I will definitely pay early because the CDN$ is doing very well right now.

we do this too! usually we have 1/4 of of the trip left to pay, as we make dis visa payments at 6 mos. intervals. (i book super early though!) they may change in the future now that I know about pins and stuff, lol!:rotfl:

Always. I always pay my bills on the exact due date - not sure why, I just like to keep my money as long as possible!

Not me, I pay mine as soon as I have the money!! I love having everything paid for and not having to worry about it. I paid our upcoming trip off two months before the due date. Only 39 more days until we leave!! :cool1:

That is how we feel. My husband will not let us take the trip unless we have the $$ in the bank before we book. However, we use the 6 months interest free to keep money in bank for as long as possible. We pay at 45 day mark so that that Disney Visa starts counting the 6 months as late as possible. We love the reward points. Pays for some extra goodies. We are very frugal. Works for us.

I pay in full when I book...that way I don't have to worry about remembering to pay months later...or worse...accidentally spend some of that money!

I will usually pay off any balance after the CC closes. For our upcoming trip that will probably mean paying for the trip sometime in June.

I pay it off as soon as I can or when I know for sure I am going. My two upcoming trips are paid in full. Nice not having to make payments to Disney :goodvibes Of course as someone said you can be earning interest by saving the money & then pay Disney off. But the way I look at it the interest you earn you have to claim it on taxes lol. So I pay it off. :goodvibes

I wait until day 45 because I don't want them holding my money any longer than necessary.

My money sits in savings. I then pay with a credit card to get reward points at 45 days. Then I pay the credit card right before it is due so I get to collect my interest from savings as long as possible... It's not much interest, but it's mine.

I usually wait till about 50 days or so because I use Disa Visa and get the extra 6 months

I pay for the whole thing up front. It's so much easier to have them take all the money at once then have to worry about it not being there when the time comes.

I also wait until about 50 days or so because I first apply any rewards that have built up on my DVisa, then pay the balance. Cuts the cost of the vacation as a whole....

Exactly what I do! I make the minimum due and pay it off from savings just before the promo period is over. Why let them have the money! It might just be a little interest but it makes me feel better!

I just paid of my balance yesterday and my 45 day mark is this Saturday! I made my payment online with a debit card and it went through right away!

My 45 day mark is 8/17, and that's exactly when I'll be paying. This next trip was an impulsive decision, and I definitely need the next few months to save the money to get there. BC is expensive.

We just booked Wednesday for May 9-14 and had to pay in full at the time of booking. We were under the 45 day mark. I remember when we could just pay in full at check-in. What happened with that?

I think you can do it much closer to your arrival date if you're room only
