Before I met Tom:
Camping, Toronto, WDW, Acapulco, 4 day Carnival Cruise
With Tom..before Kids:
Washington DC, WDW, 7 day Carnival Cruise (Ocho Rios, Cozumel, Grand Cayman)
Since the kids were born:
Feb 1999: Overnight in Rochester (practicing our hotel skills with an 18 mo old and a 6 mo old)...children's museum/zoo
July 1999: Philadelphia, Atlantic City, NYC
April 2001: Boston
July 2001: Atlantic City, Wildwood NJ
April 2002: First family trip to WDW, 3 day Carnival Cruise (Nassau)
July 2002: WDW
August 2002: Cleveland
Nov/Dec 2002:
MVMCP (WDW)...my first time seeing it at Christmas
April 2003: 3 day
DCL (Nassau, Castaway Key), Ft Lauderdale, mini-WDW (2 days)
July 2003: WDW
Coming Up:
Aug 2004: Sesame Place (PA) and Atlantic City
Aprill 2004: 4 day DCL, 1st family Universal trip, mini WDW (2 nights)
Looking Into:
California (possibly driving to see lots of things along the way), Hawaii, 7 day DCL (East and West)
Also: We have a lot to see close by that I didn't count. We live 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, and 90 minutes from Toronto. We have a few great State parks..my kids have hiked, fished, waded in creeks etc. all w/o officially taking a vacation to do it. When we go away, we like to be crammed with activity. We are lucky enough to be able to rest and enjoy nature w/o traveliing. We also get plenty of snow...sleddinf, ice skating, etc. We want SUN and warmth when we go away..
Right now WDW and the Ocean are the 2 perfect get-aways for us. As the kids get older, there are lots of things I'd like them to see and do. Even then, I see WDW/Orlando as being a relatively consistant vacation spot for us...
This thread has been interesting. Thanks.
