I ordered it, got it yesterday, used it today for the first time, and I'm not sure I like it. Yes, my hair is soft. But my hair is fine and now it's SO soft etc...that it just hangs there! I really need to "work" my hair to get it to look at all decent, and it seemed like no matter what I did this morning, it just fell flat! No amount of hair spray could keep it up. Typical Wen hair? Or am I doing something wrong? I did use the styling products that came with it, also. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I use Wen and I love it. But I dont' have fine hair. I have a ton of very thick hair with lots of body. My hair is super healthy, shiney and soft. Because of Wen, I can just get up and go with my hair somedays.

It may take some time to figure how much is the right ammount for your hair. Took me some time playing around with it. Also, use cooler water. Rinse hair, apply the needed amount, work through hair, use the comb too and let set while you shower. Then rinse with cool water.

There should be some tips that came with the product. Also, amazon has a section with reviews on this that have lots of tips in there as well.

Give it a few days. Also, did you get the styling gel with it?

I use Wen when I have hair (Currently have zip due to chemo) but I suffer from the fine and fluffy. It will work, just have to let your hair catch up to it.

I've never used it. I'm intrigued but I think ALL of the girls' hair in the commercial looks greasy!

What "flavor" did you get? For fine hair, I would highly recommend the Lavender. I've been using WEN for well over a year, and it was a love/hate relationship in the beginning. Now I can't tell you the last time *I* used shampoo on it. It does get shampoo on it every time I go for color (about every 5 weeks), but in-between it's only WEN.

I have wavy/semi-coarse hair, so it's a little different for me. Two things that are really, really important to using WEN correctly are 1) use enough of the product - don't try to skimp and 2) rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse some more. Chaz has some great videos on YouTube showing you how to use WEN that are really helpful. If you watch those and have more questions, I'd be more than happy to help.

I have to say that in the beginning my hair might have looked greasy, but it was because I wasn't using it properly. Once I got the technique down, you'd never say my hair was greasy. It's great stuff, and it's wonderful for my color - no more stripping or brassy highlights. My stylist is amazed!

I called this am to cancel my renewable order, and the guy said I should try the cucumber one as it is made for fine hair (which I have). So I guess I'll try that when I get it and see if that's better.

I followed the directions, but do you have any tips? I do think my hair looks a little greasy and it for sure is weighed down and flat!

I did get the styling products with it and I used them yesterday, but today I used my old styling stuff and had almost the same results. maybe a little more lift, but not much. I really hope the other "flavor" works better, I was so excited about trying this stuff....I can't believe Laura Ingalls would lie to me! :rotfl2:

Tips -

Make sure you are using enough. Rub it into your scalp well, and then add a little water and massage some more. The water makes it foam a little. Another tip would be to add a little water to the Cleansing Conditioner (CC) before applying it to thin it out a little. Make sure to let it sit on your hair while you do your other shower things like washing and shaving. Rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse some more. Run a comb through your hair as your rinse. Finshing rinsing with a cool rinse.

I would try styling your hair without adding any CC or Styling Cream in it. Start with just the basics and then slowly add things in so you know what is causing the trouble.

The Cucumber Aloe (CA) is light, but the Lavender is for volume, and it's fantastic! Sweet Almond Mint (SAM) was one of the originals, and it is a great all-purpose one, but I really love the Lavender so much more than SAM.

Seriously, the videos on YouTube have some great tips, even for me. I wasn't using a comb as I rinsed, and it's made a huge difference in feeling like I'm getting everything rinsed out.

I'm pretty excited to see how it works on my hair. I just ordered the fig last night from qvc.

I asked at my salon if they had anyone that used it. The said they did & people were happy but it wouldn't be a good idea for me because I have thin hair & it can weigh it down......:confused3
