These chalk sets are being sold AS IS. Some of them may have some chalk dust that has fallen on the applicators. Many do not. And there usually is some superficial transfer of one chalk color to another (small flakes of another chalk may have landed on another chalk). This is always just on the top layer and a few swipes with a Q-tip will and can remove all of it. Basically your getting a near perfect chalk set. Some are a little worse then others and I am just doing random selections. I place a foam sheet in each to keep any further damage being done during shipping. Most of the chalks I received are in near perfect condition, just some may be a little worse off, so I am not discriminating and am letting them go at a really low price. All chalk sets will have perfect cases (no broken hinges). Rarely are the chalks broken. No chalks will be missing. Sorry, no returns for these as these are a clearance, liquidation item. I assure you your chalks will still be perfectly usable and enjoyable.

I have the Pebbles Inc pastel set and also some older set that has either 16 or 20 different bright colors (the name escapes me) in a clear plastic case. Ive come to prefer the pebbles set and *really* want their new metallic/iridescent/shiny set but the other set is several years old and is still in great condition (amazing how non of the chalks are broken...)
