Does anyone think that maybe Michael Jackson was murdered?

After a year or so of trial, he will get off scott free.

the defense with point out the pattern of drug abuse by michael jackson and the doctor will fall back on the "I was giving my paitent what he needed for pain"

I would imagine that the fact he would fire the medical personnel he hired if they didn't give him drugs will be brought out more forcefully in court.

in the meanwhile joe and his cronies will continue to get the money train rolling again.

hehehehhee

RUM?

I didn't believe him. IMHO it was an attempt at damage control on his part. A little late for that if you ask me. He's been invited on multiple shows since very early on to tell his story and he wouldn't. I can't help but wonder who his supporters are since he is in hiding with bodyguards because of soooo many death threats. :confused3 The video probed NOTHING to me and really just made me more angry at him.

I will say the way he looked in the video compared to the photos we had previously seen show he has either aged from the stress because of all this and his financial problems or either the other photos were old.

I read today that they are expecting to file manslaughter charges in the next 2 weeks. I hope that's true. The article also said they wanted to go for 2nd degree murder with no motive but were concerned a jury might have a problem with no motive. I think they want to make sure the charges stick.

I think he made a lot of people angry. Would it have been horrible to say a quick "sorry for your loss" to the family? :confused3 Geeze, what a mutt.

I have a gut feeling it will all come down to this particular doctor.. Could be wrong, but we'll see..

Did you read the comments C.Ann? I am surprised how many people think others were in on the "killing". What a mess, huh? Crazy.

nobody killed him,

Michael jackson committed suicide by drug overdose.

from demanding that the doctors give him his drugs.

and he would hire doctors that needed the money and/or were starstuck

its by his own design that he is dead.

only now are his family starting the old "if only we could have done something"

crocodile tears.

He would only hire "yes" people so that he could get his way.

I would be suprised if anything will happen to ANY of the doctors/nurses involved.

meh

I am sure someone will come along that is just as good an entaintainer as he allegedly was.

The problem for the doctor is that he strayed far from standards of practice in administering propofol as he did, if he did.

While it's true that MJ would have more than likely continued doctor shopping, it doesn't mean that any should have said yes to this bizarre and unreasonable request.

my guess is that he "shopped" for doctors that needed the bucks. (plus they could always say that "I was Michael jacksons personal doctor," THAT would certainly improve their business)

150K a month is a pretty good payday for any doctor, and since he was (supposedly) in good health, I wonder what they thought that much money was for, giving him his daily b12 shot?

I haven't been following much lately, but I was GLAD to hear he's being buried at Forest Lawn GLENDALE as contrasted with Forest Lawn HOLLYWOOD HILLS.

One of my hobbies is visiting expired celebrities. Say what you will, but I like to see and make sure that none of them are being disrespected. They've given such great times to us in life, they deserve something in death. I don't cross ropes or chains or pick locks, but sometimes the gates are unlocked and the chains are down. I like to see that Chico Marx' name is polished, for example. (I don't do it myself, but I do report anything amiss.)

FLG is really hard to get into to see some people! Some noted people are buried outside, but most are in secure areas. As with other cemetaries that have famous people, they do have tight security, but it seems to be strongest at FLG. They have people stationed at the masoleums, and they ask you who you are seeing and stare at you with narrowed eyes and disarming looks.

So at the very least, he'll have some peace, if that helps anyone here to know.

except that daddy joe is already working on moving him to neverland, thats why he isn't going to be buried, but interred in a mausoleum.

That way he can be moved without the legal problems of opening the grave.

then you can vist (for a fee) his gravesite.

I am sure they are working on the permits.

Oh, see, I never thought of that. What a disgusting action. His dad was/is a total piece of work, wasn't he?

Well, hey. He's 81. His time will come to meet his maker!

Exactly. If someone tells you to walk off a bridge do you do it just because someone tells you to do it?? No. Just because someone is a addicted to drugs does not mean it's okay to help them or give them something outside a safe environment and then not even watch them or monitor them. GP, you need to remember that MJ died on Dr. Murray's watch, that's why he is responsible. MJ could not have administered this drug to himself.

Personally I am disappointed because I would like to be able to visit his grave. I would rather him be buried at Neverland. By the way, I read today that it appears his burial is once again being delayed until at least Aug. 31st.

hehehehehehe

but that is exactly what michael jackson did, he begged/demanded drugs.

look at the "former" nurse that suddenly found herself unemployed by him when she refused to give it to him. he just found sombody that did.

typical addict behaviour. "I want what I want when I want it" and with the money available to him, and surrounded by "Yes" people. he found the help to "walk off the bridge"

I think that even though you don't agree with the doctors actions, I would be suprised if he gets convicted of anything. Like I pointed out in other posts, he is already forming a doctors defense. "I was helping my paitent"

I would bet that somewhere along the line, the "I didn't know about the other drugs in his system that caused an adverse reaction" is gonna show up.

suicide by prescription meds.

much like Elvis.

I too would have made the trip to Neverland someday. But also if he really hated Neverland, then I am wishy washy on wanting him there.
Not buried on his birthday? I'm sad about that. But in my heart I know he doesnt worry about that anymore... it's just those of us left behind.
Some days I feel OK about this now. And then once in a while (like yesterday) it hits me hard all over again. Out of the blue! :headache:

Where does a brilliant light go when it burns out? It cant just cease.

Thank You. It does help. :flower3:

I know what you mean about being wishy washy about Neverland. I think it would have been the best option for the public to visit him which is why it outweighs everything else for me. Otherwise it wouldn't. I still can't help but wonder if Neverland will one day be opened to the public regardless of if he is buried there or not like Graceland. It think the public has a tremendous interest. I guess only time will tell on if that happens or not though.

It is all still very sad. Still hard to believe this brilliant and amazingly talented wonderful person is gone. :sad1:

I can see a civil suit coming down. It clearly looks like malpractice to me. I mean MJ pays a doctor over 1 million a year so he can sleep. The doctor should have been there all during the eight hours when Michael slept and never left that bedside. If that crazy drug required monitoring the doctor should have performed the services he was paid to do. There are doctors that have many patients in hospitals that don't get paid a million a year. It's pretty lousy that MJ had to pay 1 M of his money in order to sleep at night. But that's another story. Too bad , he could not find a doctor who would help him work through his mental and physical issues. For 1 million, he should have recieved better service. He was owed that and he was shortchanged. I do not have a good feel about that nurse. I think she came forward to blow the whistle to save herself. She could have blown it when he was alive and that wasn't done. She did not have the authority to give him proponal , so how could she have declined ? I think there is a lot there that we don't know about / understand.

In so far as a criminal matter, I am not sure I understand all that. I do think that many doctors took advantage of him , is that criminal ? I'm not sure. Unethical for sure but I doubt that investigators will be able to find all the proof they need as this is a long history. MJ was using this sleep drug proponal for years since Thriller. That crazy doctor that Peter Frampton had acknowledged that.

It was allegedly criminal because the drug was used inappropriately and the doctor strayed far from accepted standards of medical practice. It really doesn't matter if he stayed with him or not. That drug is not given out of a hospital or clinic setting, without ACLS equipment and certified personnel on hand, and it is not approved as a sleep aid. There are also other questions about how long it took for the doc to call 911 and how he got the drug in the first place, etc. It will be interesting when all the facts come out.

Is this as bad as I think it might be?
There's no way this can only be showing in California, right?????? IS that part just rumor (like 99.9% of everything else right now.)
http://www.michaeljackson.com/us/ne...week-limited-engagement-around-world#comments

I'll never buy anything from SONY ever again if they actually do that.

It says it will be shown around the world. Maybe they corrected it??:confused3 I don't understand why it's only being shown for 2 weeks. Is that just a ploy to get everyone in and then they extend it or is it because they want to release the DVD by Christmas so it's only going to be shown in theatres for 2 weeks? Has anyone heard if it will be available on DVD? I will be furious if it isn't.

MJ's burial has now been moved up to Sept. 3rd. Of course, that is again subject to change. They need to let the man rest in peace. Geesh!!
