Here it goes, I am tired of all threads lately about how Disney falls apart, how rude CMs, how expensive food, how many meatballs in portion, how horrible people who chant, people who cut in line and so on...
Does anyone still enjoy Disney here? I DO. I am looking forward to my trip, missing Disney more and more every day. I come there and enjoy my family and amazing Disney parks and resort. I smile and people smile back. I never saw a rude CM, infact they make my trip even better. I do not stress over line cutting, or loud singing, price up but merely by few $s, I ENJOY MY TRIP. Anyone here is like me? Please share your stories.:)

No, it's a horrible place no one in their right mind would goto willingly.

That is the answer you wanted, isn't it?

I wouldn't be on this forum if I didn't LOVE Disney! :goodvibes

I think so many people expect so much because Disney is known for being a great place - but sometimes we have to lower our expectations and just enjoy the vacation even if it isn't perfect. :)

Our family does. In fact, that was one of the selling points of having the opportunity of moving to Florida. Our friends still tease us about it. Every time we go, our DS 6 finds something new or different. We just went a few weeks ago and I'm trying to figure out when we will go next. We don't go commando, we don't do all the fancy dining stuff, we don't do the water parks yet. We just go to relax and have fun. DS and I have AP. DH used to, but now that we live closer, he won't get to go as much due to his job. He may get one later. We have always been nuts about Disney. We don't compare how things used to be to how they are now. Things are expensive everywhere. We simply go to enjoy:)

WE LOVE DISNEY!! I go there because everyone for the most part is happy. I enjoy seeing my kids happy, and we go to have fun, relax, and enjoy places that we can't enjoy here in NY. I CANNOT wait to get there in a few weeks:cool1::cool1::cool1:

LOVE it. We are not commandos though. We go often enough that we just go with the flow and if we do not get to something we know we will do it next time. We just got back from a mountain vacation and I remember thinking "I wish I was at Disney" often. The mountains are beautiful but after a day or 2 I was bored with it. I am a "get up and go" kind of person.

I never stopped enjoying it. We love it and my addiction is becoming worse and worse. In the past year DH had gotten fully addicted like me so it makes it even better. I spend more time now than ever trying to squeeze in extra trips and just read anything Disney. Same thing with money, we spend more of our annual budget on Disney trip now than ever before. Our trips are as magical as they were before and everytime we go we find something new we love or our 'favorite' park changes b/c of an experience we had there.

YES!!! THANK YOU!! I read these boards because I love Disney! No place gives us as great a vacation and as great a value! I don't want to hear why your vacation was horrible because kids sing and have a good time, or there is a hair tie on your hotel floor, or you felt insulted by the waitress because you are on the DDP. RUBBISH!

I have the ability not to read these posts, but for some reason people seem to want the drama, rather than the highlights of a great trip.

55 years of never a bad trip- DL to WDW!

I absolutely still enjoy Disney. I agree with the PP who said that "your vacation is what you make it." I really tune the other stuff out (chanting, line cutting, etc.) The way I see it is I am lucky enough to take multiple trips to WDW a year (5 this year) and there are pleanty of families who only go once in a lifetime. So, if there are loud people, line cutters, etc. I just chalk it up to them being overly excited and I focus my attention on something else.

I still love Disney!!! :goodvibes

We came back from a seven night trip one month ago. We had an awesome time and I didn't want to leave.

Was everything perfect...No, but is it anywhere or anyday? No. It's un-reasonable expectation to think that any trip, anywhere won't have it's ups/downs. That's just life. Too many people just don't know how to go with the flow.

Life is what you make of it. As is Disney. I always have and always will Love Disney:banana:

Yes. But not as much as I used to.
Same here...I don't love it...never really did. The main problem for me is having lived here for seven years and going to Disney a lot, I don't tolerate lines like I used to. I've done just about everything in the parks that I want to do and I won't wait in a line for more than about 20 minutes. If it's really crowded, I leave since I can always go back another day. There's good and bad to living in Orlando.

Like you...I enjoy going but to me living here takes some of the excitement away when you go so often. Sometimes I miss being a tourist but then I see the hotel rates and am glad I don't have to pay them.
:rotfl:

:love:still love it & always loved it!!!

:thumbsup2totally look forward to each and every trip to WDW, def my happy place!!!:thumbsup2

I look forward to EVERy trip I make to either WDW or DL. For the most part what others do at the park doesn't affect me.

I love WDW!!!

Some of the people on this board just don't know how to go with the flow. And just because a family on the board got extra pixie dust doesn't mean that your family will. Please don't be disappointed when it doesn't happen. If people let go of their feelings of entitlement then they would enjoy WDW more.

I love Disney!! I lived in Merritt Island shortly after it opened....spent school field trips and many trips with my family there. I worked there in college. I introduced my husband to it when we started dating.....his family rarely travelled....but he is JUST as addicted to Disney as me. We have now raised our children on yearly/multi yearly trips and they are EVEN WORSE addicts than both my husband and I. I love the bond that our family shares together with Disney as the connection. I've seen it from beginning to what it is now. I think Disney has done a very good job overall of staying to the simple ideas Walt had....especially considering its size. I love love love love love Disney!! I can't imagine that will ever change.

I truly believe...as a pp above stated....that those who don't love Disney anymore really never did.

Love it the same as if I was still a youngster :lmao:

Ok don't call me old :P

We try to find CM's that are not happy and let me tell you they are very hard to find, tired families late in the day that some of the magic is wearing off are easy to find

Ya just gotta let the Mickey vacation make ya happy and I must say Mickey has not let me down
