Glad to hear you didn't need the surgery.. Hopefully it will continue that way..![]()
Unfortunately I needed it..but it would do more harm than good at this time. Had to weigh the risks, and they were too high. Guess my skiing days are over, so my skis will be going up on Craigslist.
As long as you have one package going Priority, your mailman will pick up for you. That's been a real plus for us. So if you do it in the winter, no need to go out of the house.
That's good that you haven't had any no shows. I had one tonight LOL! It's a real problem. As for the scams..I assume you see the warning that craigslist puts in every email..and they have numerous warnings on their site. The craigslist boards are interesting..can't believe some people's stories. eBay, Craigslist...you have to be careful on both. If you only take cash, you shouldn't have any problems...as long as the cash is real LOL!
By safety, common sense rules as I'm sure you know. One story comes to mind that was posted. One gal posted that she foolishly gave her address, and the info that the person had to wait until her husband was home that evening, and that she had to leave to pick her child up from school and take her to an activity. She didn't have to worry about how she was going to be paid, because the person came and helped himself while they were out.
The following is in all emails from people buying from us through Craigslist.
** CRAIGSLIST ADVISORY --- AVOID SCAMS BY DEALING LOCALLY
** Avoid: wiring money, cross-border deals, work-at-home
** Beware: cashier checks, money orders, escrow, shipping
