Does anyone remember a ride, maybe twenty years ago, where they "shrunk you down" and you saw giant snowflakes, and maybe ended up going inside a human body? I'm sure it was in Tomorrowland. :headache:

I do! It was "Adventure Through Inner Space" or something like that. I remember watching the "shrunken" vehicles in the giant microscope and wondering if that was real!:)

Isn't part of Inner Space used in the queue for Star Tours or Space mountain? :confused3

Star Tours took over the Adventure in Inner Space ride. And there are suppose to be a lot of little reminders of the ride in Star Tours - stuff in the queue and in the ride itself. One of the most popular I have read about is the microscope that you can see on the right side of the screen when you return to the space station in Star Tours. I haven't seen it, but I will be looking next time !

It was a free ride back in the days of individual ride tickets, so of course my family always went on it (anything FREE!)

I actually loved that ride. It was fascinating to see all of those snowflakes!

Ooh, I'll look next time too, and thanks for the link HydroGuy. That was fun to look at. Ah, the people mover...

I always loved that ride too and thought of it as the "Monsanto" ride...I think they were the sponsors...that's why it was free;)

Ah was one of my very favorites. Wish they'd bring it back (along with many other things! hehe). I have a picture of me on the ride (my Mom turned around and snapped it) when I was a kid with my Grandpa. :) Great memories!

I'm 34 now but I still fondly recall that ride. I absolutely adored it when I was a little girl. I kind of believed that we were really shrinking!

I believed they were shrinking, too, and was convinced that I could match the people in line with those that ended up going through the microscope. I also remember shrinking down & the electrons racing all around us - and that big eye staring down at us through the microscope - what a fun ride in its day.

I've seen that microscope on the Star Tours ride. :)

I LOVED that ride. I remember going with my school once and saw movement in the dark and shined my little flashlight from my keychain to see what it was. It was a cast member and they shined there flashlight back at me. He must have been doing something behind the scenes. I thought I would get in trouble. But no problems.

fun ride. Oh the 70's. did they close it in the mid 80's?

It was known as the "make-out" ride while I was in high school because it was so boring and very dark! :lmao:

As a kid I always wondered just how they shrunk all the people. It always scared me.

I still have the free postcards that they used to give out at the ride!

OMG that is so funny that you say that cuz for years that's what I thought it was called LOL. In fact my mom still calls it that LOL.

I LOVED that ride. Esp when you were in the line and could see the people "shrinking" and going into the microscope.
