Does anyone own a KIA?

I have never had one, but DS's fiancee has had two. She has a KIA Spectra now and before that had a KIA Sephia. She has liked both of them and had very little trouble.

Here's a vote for stay away from them. DH's nephew had one and it was very expensive to repair and stayed in the shop alot. Also, when we were looking for a new car a few years ago our bank made sure we knew they would not cut a check to KIA. It was actually printed on the face of the check that the check would not be valid at KIA.

Have you considered a Honda or a Toyota? They last forever and if all you want is a "grocery-getter" their little cars are great.
