I'm working on a project and need the Hebrew word for "Harmony". I cannot find it on any of the translators on the internet. They have all kinds of languages- just not Hebrew. Does anyone know what it is??

TIA

Thanks for the website, but I couldn't get the Hebrew word for 'harmony'.

So.... this is a bump! Anyone else???

"harmony" as a musical term? "shira" means song...but I'll have to ask a friend for "harmony".

THanks both of you for your responses!

MorganLeFay- I am actually looking for two meanings- I should've posted that first- but it didn't dawn on me until you brought it up!

I need the word for Harmony- meaning musical harmony
And
Harmony meaning getting along with people or togetherness.... so I guess I have that one... Thanks T1130 !!

I looked it up in my Websteer's dictionary-the Hebrew is transliterated.

harmonic is "harmonee" and harmony is "harmon". obviously derived from western languages.

"arev" means harmonious or agreeable.

Actually, I think "arev" means the evening before, as in the night before any holiday

Oh!! I'm so confused! :confused3

SO.... if I want to use the Hebrew word for harmony in terms of the sentence " They sang together in beautiful harmony"- I would use the word "harmon"
and
If I wanted to use the word harmony in terms of the sentence " Let's live together in peace and harmony". Then I would use the word "arev"??
