if to contact DCL directly or go through a travel agent for a group discount. I know that they exist--I have a friend that does this and they get a group rate. Is the rate worth it??

DD books my cruise since she's a CM but I think the concensus of the boards is to check all your options, get quotes from several reputable TAs and take the best package. Just be sure that you're comparing apples to apples. Make sure everyone is quoting cruise fare, taxes, port fees, transfers (or not), insurance (or not), etc. Also verify that everyone quoting has the same ages, cabin category, etc.

I checked with numerous agents for prices (although I have used Dreams Unlimited for my last two WDW trips ) Actually my best price was from DU this time...b/c they got me a group rate. Hope that helps.
