Does anyone know why or how I can fix this problem?

It seems whenever someone starts a thread with many pictures, half will load for me, the others won't. I miss alot of Dan Murphy's pictures and now PandyPaws has started a thread with pictures from her vacation that I would really like to see. Anybody know how to fix this or know why my computer won't cooperate?

Are you using Netscape Saffron?

I have that problem too on long threads... it's most annoying! Try using Internet Explorer, there is a big difference.

OK! Now true confessions, here's the problem. I hear people say this all the time and I have no idea what it means! How do I know what I'm using?! Yes, computer illiterate numero uno here!

What type of computer are you using, and how do you connect to the internet?

I connect to the Internet by dial up (using a phone line, that's dial up right?). The computer I use is: Emachine, Etower 366i2 with Intel Celertron inside and Microsoft Windows 98. Does that sound right? That's what it says on the tower. I told you I was really bad at this!

Ok!

I've taked with Miss Wishydoo, and she tells me that she also has had problems using AOL and viewing images on occassion.

My recommendation for you is to download MicroSoft Internet Explorer to use as a Browser for "surfing" the web. Just click on this link Internet Explorer Download and download it! Once installed, you can will connect to the internet as previously, then "open" Internet Explorer and continue on from there. I'm hoping that you will not experience quite the same problems as before.

Ask more questions as needed!

Well - I did that all on my own today! I saw one of the moderators tell someone how to get into chat and followed her directions for Internet Explorer. But -------- once I did that, it took waaaaaaaaaay too long to load the pictures. I would probably still be sitting there waiting! So, I pm'd PandyPaws to tell her I enjoyed the pictures I could see, but the rest wouldn't load for me. She told me to right click on the little red X then click show picture. Works like a charm!
