Does anyone know why Morgan fashion shops are closed?

Being very organised I bought my friend for her 40th birthday £40 of Morgan vouchers about six weeks before her birthday at the end of May. I have got the afternoon off work and taking her for lunch at our local pub this Friday. However after a very quick trip to Brent Cross yesterday (as Mark wanted to get some clothes for our Orlando trip before the sales end) I noticed that the Morgan shop was closed with a notice saying that all Morgan shops nation wide would be shut and unlikely to open again.

Luckily enough I work next to a boots and got my friend some purfume (and chocolates instead) during my lunch break. however I don't want the £40 to go to waste and will give her the vouchers anyway but am not sure if they will ever be usable.

Has anyone heard anything? I have phoned customer services but never get through past the recording.
