Unless they're really meaning the FE group, I can only guess she's hoping there's a list of people who aren't participating in FE proper but will still hang something outside their door? Whenever I've read of people "pixie dusting" others it's when they put things in FEs that are not in their group - but I can't imagine why there would be a list for that.

On our 2015 WBPC cruise, there was a Pixie Dust List. It was a more informal version of the many, many formal FEs that were going on. Basically, we added the names of the people from DIS to a list and if you had extra items or wanted to gift only kids, etc. things it was to help you know which rooms they were in. Since it was such a long cruise, it was fun to have FE and he Pixie Dust List.

BUT, pretty much everyone on the PD List gifted everyone. It just did not have "rules"...like many FE exchanges do.

I am not sure if there are ever Pixie Dust Lists where you just add your name and people deliver gifts to you, without some form of reciprocation?

Wondering if I should start a PD rather than FE list for one of our upcoming shorter cruises. There are none for either yet and frankly I've never been interested in the FEs. I think however my girls would love delivering some pixie dust. .. do they use the same pouch thingies as the FEs?

Typically, once a Fish Extender list is closed, there are people who show up on the Cruise Meet thread who say "is it too late to join?". Many times, a pixie dust list will be started at that point. It's up to the people on the regular FE list whether they will include them in their gifts, but those on the Pixie Dust list must still provide gifts for the others. Most of the time there are enough people on the regular list who make/buy additional gifts and others are included. And those on the pixie dust list provide gifts for each other.

Not all Cruise Meet threads have a Fish Extender list. Not all Cruise Meet threads that have a FE group have a Pixie Dust list.
