Does anyone know when Xmas stuff goes up?

I'm trying to find out when the Christmas decorations go up at US and IOA. Also are there any specific things they do for Xmas and do you need an extra ticket?

I was at IOA on Nov. 3rd. They were just starting to put up garland. By Thanksgiving it's all up.

As far as I know there is no special ticketed event like WDW's MVMCP, BUT they do change Suess Landing at IOA to look and feel like Whoville with the Grinch and the Whos all around with a special show throughout the day and the Grinch's Lair and a snow covered slide etc...

Last year, they started this November 22 I think??

I believe Grinchmas started after Thanksgiving.

It is not a hard ticketed event like Halloween Horror Nights. Your day's admission will get you in.

Thanks for all the info! We will be down in WDW from Nov.29 - Dec.5 and I was thinking about getting 1 day tickets to go over and see the holiday stuff at IOA. Glad to hear everything will be up at during our trip.

Universal is always decorated by the November 10th, 5 years I have gone on my birthday and last year was the exception. It wasn't decorated the 10th, they were filming something in that Alley where the Blues Brother show was, and that might have been why no decorations were up. Also the fact they didn't have their Macy's props yet.

But 4 years in a row on 11/10 the parks are decorated.
