Does anyone know when TJMaxx puts out new merchandise?

I'm looking to buy a few more pots/pans from TJMaxx. I don't go there very often (MAYBE once/twice a year) Over the last couple of years I have bought 2 pans for our camper and one skillet type pan for the house.
I'm in the spring cleaning kind of mood and gathering up a few things for a yardsale. One of the things I'm getting rid of are my older Pampered Chef pans and replacing with the ones from TJMaxx.

I'm just curious if anyone knows when they put out new stuff (especially the pans). Thanks!

Tuesdays at 11:32am EST.

Seriously, you need to keep checking back. Different stores get different inventory, but you can get some great deals when they have what you want.

This is a trick question: they don't sell "new" merchandise. They sell stuff other stores couldn't get rid of.

Off-price stores don't typically sell used merchandise. Some of the stuff that I've seen looks like it might have come straight from unsold inventory in a warehouse and never been to a retail store before.

There's some weird stuff too. Once I found a Speedo women's racerback swimsuit. But all I saw was a number without any kind of size guide on the package, and it was taped shut. It was only $2.49 at Ross. I figured at that price who cares. Then I opened it and found it was sized for maybe a five year old. Might make a decent gift.

There's no way of knowing. I'd think deliveries could depend on the individual store and and even then, they might not be on any regular schedule. Besides that, there's time between deliveries and when employees bring out the merch.

I enjoy all the trinkets these stores carry and just visited today. As a general rule, they load up for all things kitchen, table & meal related just before a holiday. Since Easter is a heartbeat away with Passover shortly after they are on task, I found the stores to be full to the brim today. I would say you want to get there before the weekend, as people go through their homes to prepare for the next holiday everyone will have the same goal as you, I generally try to stay a week or two ahead of the crush.

It depends upon the store. May be worth a phone call. You can also check online, if you sign up for emails you can get free shipping.

TJMaxx is owned in conjunction with Homegoods (Marshalls and Sierra as well). Try Homegoods for your pots and pans if you have one in your area. (Ours a right next door to each other.)

Why does Home Goods use triple sticky industrial glue on their price labels? Those stickers are almost impossible to fully remove.

I do like the “Compare at” prices. Yeah, like that item was ever sold elsewhere at that higher price. The bulk of their stuff I’ve never seen anywhere else.

I can answer that! To stop sticker switching. Their bar codes are reused multiple times, so when something goes through the register there’s no way to double check this item is what it’s supposed to be. It makes it “easy” to take a $20 sticker and put it on a $200 item. When I worked there, they had these god awful porcelain fruit things that were $100. Someone swapped the sticker for $20. That’s why they are so hard, to stop loss like that.

I helped open one of the very first Canadian “version” of Home Goods here. They are owned by the same company but ours are called Home Sense. They get new shipments many times a week, quite possibly every day? It just takes time to put it out because it’s all unique stuff vs just restocking what’s already there. I’d go with others said, call and see if they’ll tell you their restock day or days.

Love TJX stores! I recently purchased two Green Pan skillets. Absolutely the best skillets I have ever owned. I’m now on the lookout for more of their pans there. I paid $14.99 and $12.99 for the two skillets. On the Green Pan website the exact same pans are more than double the price.

As for stocking, our stores are constantly stocking. I try to go weekly.

There's a Home Sense in my way home in CT. It has more furniture and large items than Home Goods. It also seemed a bit more expensive (I had bought a lamp at Home Goods a year or so earlier, then saw the same lamp in a different color at Home Sense for about $20 more than I had paid).

Ah, OK. I could tell the price stickers are not unique UPC barcodes, but rather just encode the price and perhaps a department or “season.”

I suspect they are constantly stocking the shelves. It isn't like they put everything up all at once overnight.
