Does anyone know when they annouce days of DVC Christmas party

We will be down in Dec and we are wondering what day of the week they will have the Christmas party or if they will be doing it again? When did they announce it before. I want to make my ADRs around it since the kids saw pics posted awhile ago about and want to attend.

I am pretty sure they are on fridays from 3-5 maybe. I'm not to awfully sure, as I've been unable to find the info on the website like I did before!

I'm sure someone will come alone with more information!

As of yesterday, September 2nd, not even Member Services knew when the party would be. I asked and was told tat they have no information about it.

One of my disappointments with DVC is that this sort of thing isn't consistant. Not from season to season, not from year to year. One year they'll have member parties, the next, nothing. Other than the annual meetings - which they have to have - there is nothing DVC does that you can plan around. Not that I would, it isn't why I own DVC, but member gatherings for members that were predictable and you could plan eleven months out for would make this feel more like a club - and I think be relatively easy to do. Or otherwise, don't do it at all.

Well thank you guys. If they have it great if not the kids might be bummed but they will get over it. I thought I saw it was friday for last year but if they did it on Friday this year that would make one of them on CHristmas day so I wasn't sure if that was the day they were doing it again. I'll just make my ADRs as planned and if they have it work around them.

This is all very strange, seeing as I saw it on the member website! Ugh.... oh well.... Must have been old information... I hope its Fri, Sat, Sun, or Mon this year. I'll be around for my birthday!

It was there, but it did not say the year on the info. I think it was last year's info and Disney finally realized it was still on the web page and removed it.

It was posted as Fridays early this summer, but I noticed it has been taking off the site. Maybe they are considering a different day since christmas falls on Friday.

I thought I saw friday too so thats why I asked since I couldn't find it anywhere again. I did see that there were posts saying last years party was fridays so I just assumed it was older information. I think doing it on fridays and having one on Christmas Day is not likely. But who knows.

I guess we will just wait and see if they have it again!
