I am going crazy. Two nights ago as we were leaving disneyland three disney guys came up to us and said this is the family. I was sure we were going to get dreamed. I was so excited. Then they proceeded to guess the ages of my kids and asked how long we had been there. The whole time one of the guys was playing with something in his pocket. Then they asked how much longer we were going to be there and when my ds said only one more day the conversation was pretty much cut off. I didn't think fast enough to say we would love to stay longer. Could they have been about to dream us? Seriously, I have been going crazy with visions of sleeping in Cinderella's castle. I'm just not sure why they wanted us there longer. Anyone know what that might have been? Thanks!

I'd sure like to know what they were up to, too. Are you sure they were Disney guys? Could they have been those survey takers who always seem to be standing at the exits at closing time?

No, it wasn't the survey takers. We did that too. These were men in sportscoats. It was so weird.

I don't know if it matters but they hit us up right at the beginning of mainstreet right after the castle.

BTW, your stay wouldn't have been in the castle but in the gallery in NOS. I think that would just be amazing!

the thing is...dont they pick people on the day of???? not people for the next day or the day after....I dont honestly think it was for the dream suite..and Im sure they know that if they offered a vacation, it wouldnt happen right that day or the next...arrangements would have to be made...and i really dont think they would base their decision on who to give a prize to based upon the fact that people will be here or not here the next day...but it is a little weird...cinderellas castle is at wdw...sleeping beauty castle is at DL and as previous poster indicated you would be in the suite where the gallery was or in Mickey's Penthouse in DLH

I know that usually they have their vests to dream people but it was so weird. ykwim? They said "this is the family" and there was something the guy kept reaching in his pocket for. It does seem weird that whatever it was they would base their decision on how long we were there. I wonder if it was to be the special family at TTMM? Do they pick that in advance? I keep telling myself it was something like that that I wouldn't care too much about. There were three maybe four guys in tan sportscoats with the disney tags. They looked pretty official (I don't know if that makes sense but that is the only words I can think of-sorry I am still exhausted we just got back at 2 am).

I honestly think it was the folks that do surveys. They have blue jackets on, white shirts (I think!?) and stand in groups near the entrance to DL and DCA... although I think I saw them near the castle as well. They have bags and some have clip boards. They do something with things in their pockets, not sure what. And they stop people at random and ask various questions, often ending the conversation short if the person can not give them the info they need.

I observed these guys (they were all guys, not sure why?) one day while waiting for my hubby in front of DCA. I watched for quite a while and listened in. It was just a survey... although they acted so strange, it seemed as if they were going to give something away. I think most people who were stopped thought this as well!

They also seemed to be selective about who they stopped, one guy only stopped folks with no kids, another guy stopped families. Not sure if they did that on purpose or not.

It was an interesting people watching activity for me lol!

Maybe it was those survey guys. I will at least try to think that so I don't feel like I am missing out on some fabulous prize. Seriously, they should just tell you they are doing a survey as the whole time I thought I was about to get dreamed. They didn't have clipboards though and they weren't those people at the front of the park that we did a survey with. Hmmm...

Sounds like those survey guys alright. We got approached tons of times. Dh always told them we already did it. No time to waste on survey's at DL.

Nope - they pick the TTMM family the morning of when you get to the event - we got picked this year so I know they do it right before the event and only the people with tickets can be inside to be chosen.

I think if you're awarded the dream suite then they give you the option to extend your vacaction, not ask first when you're leaving and then decide not to give it to you, you know?

I would have asked them what it's about, but then again, I'm nosey.
