does anyone know what the incentive is right now?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the current incentive is?? my friends are looking into buying, but not sure what the incentive is right now? or if they should look into resales?

Currently for a new member purchase Disney is charging $112 per point for all 3 of active WDW resorts and the new VCG that goes on sale to the general public on 3/26 at Disneyland is offering a discount credit per point (varies by resort - $5 for BLT & VCG, and $6.25 for AKV & SSR which is back on sale for the new Treehouses). In order to get the incentive your friend would have to have a referral from an existing member, and then they would get either Developer's Points or a DCL cruise (length based on the number of points purchased.) DVCNews.com is a good source for the current pricing and promotions - Tim keeps it pretty up to date. Resales would definitely be a good way to go for SSR since they could find costs as low as like $67 pp. There have been some good deals out there for AKV as well, but a bit more touch and go.

The current incentives are slated to change, however, by the end of March.
