Does anyone know what percentage disney uses for AAA discount?

I called and Disney said they do offer a AAA discount. Does anyone know what the percent off is?

You can generally save about 10%-20%, depending on the season. The only time AAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas). Keep in mind there are a limited number of rooms available.

It also depends on the resort level. I think it's 15% for moderates, less for values & more for deluxes.

I don't think it's more than like 25%...if that. Call a Travel Agent and see if they know.

I'm curious to know what the discount is, as DH and I are thinking of getting AAA (not only so I have someone to call should I need roadside assistance). However, even if DH and I DON'T get AAA, my parents have AAA and will be going with us in 2012.

I had a AAA discount booked at Poly for May - it was about a 10% discount. The new public discount was much better. Also remember there are a limited amount of rooms that are available for AAA discount as well.

Well even though AAA is a great thing to have and def worth the money in all the discounts it does not give you much of a Disney break at WDW! I only saved about $30 at CBR for 4 days 3 nights. *NOTE you have to book though AAA to get the discount AND DDP. WDW CM will not combine!
At Disneyland you get a percentage off of dining at some disney resturants along with the discount off the room. Def says you on other things such as other accomadations, rental car and a lot of merchants! Sea World too!!

I have the chart in front of me for the discounts for each hotel. But it depends on the time of year you want to go. Values are always 10% off of room only but 0% during Holiday Season. Moderates range from 0% off during Holiday Season and 20% off during Value Season. Deluxe hotels range from 0% off during Holiday Season to 15% during Value Season. Villas are 0% off during Holiday Season to 20% during Value Season (except 25% off at SSR and OKW). I could tell you for sure if you tell me what time of year you are going or want to go.

Last year when we booked our trip we got a 20% discount off of the Wilderness Lodge Villas. But, about a month later, I found a better discount on the WDW website. I called my AAA travel agent and she was able to switch our rooms to using the discount code I found on the WDW website which was a savings of 40% instead of 20%. So, the AAA discount can be good if there are no other discounts offered at that time. But, don't assume that it is the best discount.

What is the discount for mid-July? I'm taking my DDs and a bunch of their friends. Haven't decided what resort, or even what level yet. Available discounts may help make that decision.

At the values the percent is 10% off.

At the Moderates the percent is 10% off.

At the Deluxes the percent is 15-20% off depending on the resort.

At the Deluxes villas the percent is 20-25% off depending on the resort.
