Does anyone know this hotel?

We're booked into the La Quinta Inn Lakeside (formerly the Four Points by Sheraton Lakeside). Does anyone know this hotel and if so, what do you think of it?

Stayed there in 1998 when it was called the Sheraton Lakeside. When we stayed there it was looking a little jaded. Don't know whether it has been renovated since then. Hopefully someone else will be able to tell you that. When we stayed it was through a Virgin Holidays package and it was in the brochure as being a 4 star. I don't think it warranted that rating. I would have only put it at 3 star. Again, a lot can change in 5 years. The big plus is that it is very close to Disney Maingate and there are quite a few restaurants close by with a shopping area opposite - I think there was a supermarket and a pharmacy among other things.

Hope someone can give you some more up to date info.

We stayed there for 3 weeks last November 2002. We found the hotel to be very clean, very good and friendly maid service every day. It does look a little jaded but the rooms are bright and spacious with clean bathroom.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hurricane sams food left a bit to be desired we had to send cold food back on two occassions.

Very close to restaurants and shops with a Walgreens right next door. Also very good Golden Coral few mins down the road.

Clean and large laundry room. Clean and safe pool.

That's a great help. I had a look on Trip Advisor, and the reports were very mixed, some saying it was a nice hotel, others saying it was dirty and unpleasant. I guess it's the luck of the draw - let's hope we get a room like yours!!
