does anyone know the ACTUAL drop of TOT?

i know that this might have been covered before but i am so curious to know how big the drop is on Tower of Terror at MGM Studios.

I didn't make it to MGM but would love to got here if i can go to Florida again.

BUT i am such a big baby i don't know if i could brave TOT!

Can't tell you the exact height - but some of the drops are short and then there's the BIG ONE. I love them all.

The official line is that you drop 13 stories. In reality, I don't think even the biggest of the drops are near that. But, I could be wrong. My guess; just from my unofficial eyesight; is that the drop is somewhere in the 6-8 story range. maybe someone out there nows for sure. we rode it several times last week. I think that the new drop sequence(TOT4) is the best its ever been. never the same fear twice! Without giving away too much; it's just that: the drop sequence is different every time you ride. go and enjoy; it's one the best attractions in WDW.

The actual longest drop is 90'-0" (90 feet) and it is actually pulled down not dropped.
