Does anyone know of any cheap hotels near London St Pancras?

me and my GF goto disneyland on the 28th september at 6:20am via eurostar, but as we live in birmingham we are planning on going down the night before and staying in a hotel but i cant seem to find any cheap hotels, last time we stayed near there was back in january and we stayed at the Travelodge by Euston and it was only £19, now im looking and its £97!!! ideally i dont want to spend more than £40-50 at most really as its only so we can get to St Pancras in time.

There are two very basic hotels near the station you could look for - the Budget Guest House and the Wardonia.
A quick search on travelrepublic is bringing up budget guest house as £50 for that night.

All I found on booking.com was The Northumberland Kings Cross Hotel, family room at £57.

is travel lodge kings cross available? were staying there the day after you for 65!

just had a look and its available for £95! the day after is £105!!!! prices must of gone up from when you booked!

Just a thought - you might be able to get a nice hotel for less if you use hotwire or priceline to book - check out betterbidding.com for more info.

Well I definitely sympathise, finding hotel accommodation in london that was cheap, near the station, and not a cockroach infested hell hole was nigh on impossible!

There is a £65 room available for that night at London Farringdon which doesnt look too far from Kings Cross
