Hello, all....I have amassed an amazing number of snowglobes, paintings and Disney fine art over the years and times are a little tight around here now. Does anyone know a place to post and sell it to Disney Collectors? Non-Disney people don't seem to understand the value of my hand numbered and painted Thomas Kincaid painting of the castle that I have. It was over $790.00 and when I posted it on Craigslist I got an offer of $25.00! Help!!!!:confused3

I hope things improve where you are. Unfortunately, collectibles do not sell well in a recession. People tend to focus on the necessities rather than knick knacks when their wallets are thin.

You might try eBay in order to reach a larger market. They have a Disney Collectibles category.

Or do a google search for Disneyana resellers. You might be able to list your items with someone who sells on the secondary market. The seller acts as the middleman between you and the buyer and takes a cut of your sale for his efforts. It could be worth a try, especially if you want more than $25 for your Thomas Kinkade.

Good luck. I hope that you are able to find someone who values those special Disney pieces as much as you do.
