calendar system. I have a lot of tasks at work, and I find I'm a million times more efficient and can juggle many more tasks if I keep a calendar (plus, I love lists and crossing things off). Up until know, I've used a daily desk calendar and hand written all tasks in months in advance.... .however, I am so busy, I don't have time to keep the calendar current.... which in turn makes me less efficient and more busy (do you see the problem here?). Anyway.... it would be easy if they were daily tasks, or even weekly tasks, but some of them fall according to a certain day of the month.... some every Monday, some three weeks before the last Wednesday..... etc... etc....

All this to see if any of you know of a good calendar system that might work for me.... easy to update, easy to read and easy to organize??

THANK YOU!!!

Fishy†--I swear by my DayTimer (I think I am the only one in my office that has not switched to an electronic PDA). But, if you are not having the time to maintain your desk calendar, this probably would not be the best bet for you.

How about Outlook (Not Outlook Express, but the full program) That has some decent calendar and scheduling features.

I swear by my daytimer too..... which is why I can't find anything I like.... but it takes me FOREVER to update it....literally 30 - 50 tasks to list each day. I get writer's cramp!!!

And Outlook just doesn't offer enough flexibility.... plus my boss has me do scheduling for him on there, which interfers..... ACK!!!

How about going electronic then???? Ya up for it? ;)

I don't know..... I don't know what it is.....

I like Outlook Calendar. I can make task re-occuring or if I donlt finish something one day, I can click on it to change it to a differnt date.

I knoe there are some that you can access on line from wherever you are.

hmm. Does anyone know of any online calendar services? that way fishbone could check said schedule from anywhere there is internet access. I've used MS Outlook previously, but don't have it with this new PC from HP. It sounds like fishbone could use an assistant ;)

I AM the assistant...... that's the problem..... I'm the jar at the bottom of the funnel, and I overfloweth!!!

Microsoft has an online calendar you could try out for a little bit. It's web based and I think it's on the Microsoft home page.
