Does anyone know of a cheap place to get lots of Silly Bands?

I just saw a huge pack of them at BJs. I wanna say there was 100 for 10 bucks but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

Just want to 2nd (or 3rd or 10th....) that I LOVE the idea of handing out something other than candy (especially Tootsie Rolls and Laughy Taffy - I hate those!). Love the idea of Silly Bands or glow stick bracelets - my kids (ages 7 and 9) would love to get either one!

Walgreens is selling Halloween silly bands, 18 packs for 6.00. Then you could break up the packs an give one per kid. They're pricey, but the Halloween theme is really cute. I was thinking of picking some up before they sell out.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll have to try BJs over the weekend.

do you have christmas tree shops?
i got them there for .89 a pack and if you buy large amounts they will cut you a deal

No, there isn't one around here. I wish.....

I tried to find these today at my walgreens and no go. I will have to try another.

I see you are in NH too :) Walmart in Manchester had the large disney packs on clearane, $3 for 24. And Target had mini packs, i think it was 5 packs of 4 for $3. I have also seen them at the dollar tree in hooksett =)

Where do you find the glow bracelets? DD3 got her first bracelet this week from grandma and she looooooooved it.

I gave play doh last year and couldn't believe the comments the kids were making. they were thrilled to get it, I expected to hear "junk playdoh, we want candy" etc...
.

My daughter and her friends are less than pleased when they get those little cans of play doh- there is not enough in one of those to do anything with and the reason they GO trick or treating is to get candy LOL, maybe giving those out to the 5 and under crowd would be ok- but after that I can't see giving play doh to. I gave out pretzels and chips one year and my daughter begged me not to do that again - she said the kids in her class all talk about how they hate getting that stuff instead of candy. Now I just buy a bunch of cases of the full sized bars and give out one of those to each kid.

I just got glow bracelets at Target to give out on Halloween. They were in the dollar section in the front of the store, but they weren't $1. (Wonder what that section is really called.) A tube of 25 bracelets was $2.50.

I'm also giving out spider rings. When you put the ring on, it looks like you have a spider on your finger. They're left over from a prior year. I'm not sure where I got them.

I would give out candy, but I end up eating it while waiting for the doorbell to ring.

I actually found it to be the reverse. The younger kids were not excited about play-doh, but the older kids were begging me for more. Their friends came knocking saying we heard you were giving out play-doh, we love play-doh, we don't ever get to play with it anymore.

There were silly bands at BJs...216 for $9.99.....probably 2 packs of 108.

OP, what have you decided to pass out? I think a trinket here and there is a bit of fun as there will surely be plenty of candy passed out!

Also, at Costco, I picked up a 60 count package of mini Disney playing cards for $7.99. I got them for our upcoming Disney Cruise, but they are meant for Halloween :)
