Does anyone know if there is any Minor League Baseball at the WWSports?

The Orlando Rays used to play there but the moved after last season. The Atlanta Braves AA team are listed as playing there but I cannot find a schedule on the Braves Web site. It's blank.

We really enjoy going to a baseball game to relax when we're in Disney, it's a nice break from the parks.

Nope, no minor league. You'll need to travel for that. Daytona has a team.

It is a shame they no longer have the Rays. We did that last year and had a nice time. (Hubby is a huge baseball fan.)
They became the Montgomery Biscuits!
Seems like a waste.

For those of you lurking, if they ever do put minor league baseball back at World of Disney try and go, it's a beautiful field and the players are as friendly as can be to the kids. A real treat.

Also if you have a premium annual pass, you got in for free! For us it was a great perk, one year we went to three ball games, a great way to relax after a hectic day in the parks and yet you were still out doing something.

Yes, the players were nice. My DD got a TON of autographs! Don't get that with major league that is for sure!

I was also disappointed to learn that the Rays had moved but when I went to wide World of Sports last month, I found that the Atlanta Braves Gulf Coast League (single A) team plays there. We were told that the games are free. They were away during our visit. There is a shop with some Atlanta Braves merchandise as well as Disney themed sports items.
