Hi everyone i was wondering if there is a link to the last level to blast in space at the Tomorrowland Hub. I have tried this game many times and i have never been able to get past level four. Plz help me out. Thanks.

No way to short cut that 1. You have to play through ALL levels and if you get shot ONCE - back to start you go. Maddening. :scared1:

Well how cool is that. Too bad I cannot get past the first level. :rotfl:

It is not because I cannot beat it, I cannot play the game. The moving around makes me sick to my stomach, seriously. When I play games like that, car racing games, Star Wars, etc, it all makes me sick to my stomach - like motion sickness.

This game looks really cool...too bad I cannot play it. :(

Okay - back to your regularly scheduled program........

bytheblood, if it makes you feel any better, it gives me a headache, so I don't play it either. Even if it didn't, that game is not worth the aggravation to me. Most times I'm stubborn and play until I get the hang of a game, but I'm not looking to waste all that time only to go KABOOM! and end up right back at the start again. No thanks!

us older peeps definitely have the edge. Many a day hanging out playing asteroids when I was a teenager ROFL. I mean. cough cough... thats what my dad told me he did :rolleyes1

I can only get so far myself in that game. I understand how it can make some feel sick. Luckily for me I don't have that problem. Its just getting past each level I have the problem with. And to think I was good at playing asteroids once a upon a time...:rolleyes1

I hate to make you feel old, aengus and Berry Princess, but... what exactly is the Asteroids game? And I'm actually honestly asking this question; I'm not being sarcastic.

*ducks away from rotten tomatoes being thrown my way*

Asteroids, Atari Inc., 1979

Asteroids was Atari's answer to Space Invaders. The game was designed by Ed Logg and it utilized a monochrome vector graphics display, which was capable of fast moving objects made of very sharp lines (compared to crude pixel graphics of its time). Combined with great game play it became the biggest selling of game of its time.

Asteroids and Lunar Lander (Atari, 1980) were the predecessors Gravitar (Atari) and many modern rotating ship shoot'em'up games e.g. Xpilot.

Thanks, gshawen. Makes sense why I didn't know what it was; that was 4 years before I was born. I have played Space Invaders, though. Even though my parents didn't use it anymore, they kept their old game console, so by the time I was 5 or so they let me play SI once in awhile. Come to think of it, I miss that game...

If they would just change up the prize i would be stinking rich ROFL

there is a useful guide on here somewhere. I will edit when I find it.

ETA: OK found electriclimes-tips thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=935106

Oh please, private lessons??? I cannot tell you the non-Disney things that have come out of my mouth while getting blown to bits on various stages of that game - and back to level 1 I go. Just can't beat it. (How much you want for a few of them cute little cabinets Aengus?)

If I had even half the quarters back that I spent playing that game on weekends, I could have a very nice vacation home somewhere. So, why cant i beat Blast in Space??? :confused3

And who exactly are you calling "older"? huh? huh? huh? ;)

Okay, not sure that we can continue being friends now. :goodvibes
- Goes to collect soft tomatoes.... :duck:

...was 4 years before I was born...
Excuse me while I go cry some more.... I am not old, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!

btw, I want your parents' machine!

But still can't beat that game. Now, if we could just have a Pac-Man game with VMK prizes, I could be a VMK Zillionaire!

- Dreams (dreaming of the 80's)

Yes, those of us who can't get thru the game wouldn't know what the end prize is. :headache:

its the tron arcade cabinet

LOL we are not old, heck you cant even say old in VMK!

Or even Ms. Pac-man...at least I'd have half a chance! Yes, I am officially old now!
