Does anyone know if the new monorail is running yet?

Hi There,


This is the first time I've posted. Thank you all for all the great tips I've gleamed from your posts. I'm sure my trip next week will be spectacular
I've heard rumors that the new monorail would be running around the April 15-17th and I was wondering if anyone knows if this is true. I will be at DLR on April 24-30 and would love a ride on the new train that was built here in my hometown

My sis said she saw it running yesterday, but I only saw the Year of A Million Dreams one. She was sure it was the new one, though...

We were just there yesterday and we rode the old one several times over the past week. The monorail operators said that they thought it would be operating in about 10 days or so. We did see the new red one running on the tracks but it wasn't taking passengers. I think they are still testing it and trying to work the bugs out of it. It looks really cool though!

Hopefully they'll have all the kinks worked out and we'll get to ride it in May!
