I have been reading trip reports, and on a couple of them I have seen pics of flat laminated people. Its kinda creepy but cute all at the same time. So as a few of you may know my husband will not be going on our trip in April and think it would be cute to have one of him to keep in our room. How do you make them though?!:confused3

I think it is a cool idea!:thumbsup2
Maybe make the MINIhim small so you could take him in the park.
I have seen people take pics of their MY PAL MICKEY, they place it so as to get rides or landscapes in the pic.:rotfl2: I would take a picture of him (front and back) and have it printed out at Walmart or somewhere you can get it done in a 8 by 10 size so that he is about 6 to 8 inches tall. You might check with Kinko's they might know how to do it. Then cut out around him and glue it to cardboard and laminate it. That way you can take him with you and take pictures of him with your family in the parks. Just like he's there doing those things with you. Very cute. :cutie:

I'm curious to see an example of what you guys are talking about. Does anyone have a picture?

This sounds cute. A 'Flat Stanley' of your DH! I think it's a great idea, and the kids will get a kick out of doing it I bet.

I will try making one and post a pic when I'm done. Maybe I will keep it a secret from my DH and he will be so suprised when he sees the pics we bring home!!lol

I vote for keeping it a surprise. That would be so cute and such a great surprise for him when he sees the pictures. Have a great time.
