I tried a penny auction place and it basically is throwing cash into a fire pit. And the one item I did win had a shipping price higher than the actual value of the item )which was a lot less than they said it was worth).

I havent used it but i keep watching the bidding. i think for some things like the higher priced item and the highr gift cards would end up a good deal but the smaller items i think you would pay moe then what it s worth. because every bid costs $0.60 cents plus you pay the end price plus shipping.
