Does anyone here

I work in education myself. Still looking for a full-time position at the moment. But I love my field. I love the students I've worked with, love working with the parents, other school officials, etc. There are aspects of the job I don't like, but the good far outweighs the bad.

I teach special education K-3 and I love love love it. I love the kiddos, love the parents, feel lucky and pollyanna-ish just for having my job at my school with such dedicated qualified teachers and super principal. No, it's not perfect, but I can't imagine a more perfect job existing; I love it so much. :goodvibes

I've been in real estate relocationf or the last 7 years and I CANT STAND IT BUT.... I work from home, make decent money and have alot of freedoms so while i know I shouldn't complain, I feel like my brain is just wasting away! It's back to school in January to start back on the right path :)

I have an office job in an aerospace company, and work for the Facilities dept. I have to say I enjoy what I do, and enjoy the people I work with and for.

I LOVE MY JOB !!! I feel so fortunate to have the job that I have, love it and get paid well for doing it.

I'm a pharmacist in a psych hospital and my supervisors really allow me to work to my strengths. Yeah, lots of order entry, pill counting and checking, BUT also, research, patient teaching, staff teaching, etc. It's a different job everyday.

I like my job as a legal assistant because I work for a lawyer who truly helps people, especially when we get elder abuse cases. That said, I don't find the law as interesting as I thought I would. I'd considered going to law school, but I just don't have a passion for it.

So . . . I'm taking postgrad classes to get into an slp program. I'm doing hearing screenings on kindergartners in our local schools to get some clinical hours in, and I love it. This is what I wanted to do when I was 20 years younger, but I got sidetracked with marriage and kids.

One thing I've kept in mind from my EMT class was this; When we see our "customers" it is quite possibly one of the worst days of their lives...even if they only have the flu, it can still be one of their most miserable days. As for my jobs I really like them both. Most days I'm in the office but I get to switch it up a bit by running on the truck too.

I totally agree. We need to remember the patients kinda have the right to be cranky.

In another thread people were talking about getting yelled at. BOY could I give examples of getting yelled at. I've been blistered up one side and down the other more times than I can count. I've been belittled and cussed out. When that happens I just remind myself that displaced anger can be an ugly thing and at least I'm not the one in the bed.
