Does anyone here work at Disneyland, CA, or have worked there previously? And could..

I live in Henderson.

It's a nice area, don't get me wrong. It's not that.

I hate the heat, the people, and there's nothing to do (for 18 or 21 and under).

I want out! :rotfl:

I hate to break it to you but there isn't much to do if you're under 21 unless you really like going to Disneyland. I think life out there begins at 21.

If you hate the HEAT make sure you get a place with central AC. One thing that Henderson has in abundance is places with AC. You'll find that a lot of places in Southern California don't have air conditioning so if you don't like the heat Summer can be a real drag.

Yes indeed! I didn't know that so many places in OC didn't have central air, until DH's best friend moved there after college- over the years he lived in Fullerton, Anaheim, and Orange (cute little place there- must have been near where you were, Quest). I can live without the a/c in the evenings there, as it cools down. But a summer day?? Yikes! The little window unit things didn't help a bit. :rotfl2:

Thanks! :thumbsup2 :worship:

Now, as for where you desire to work, can you put stuff like, (for example), "Anything but so and so"? Or, what?

At this point, I'm not even sure what I want to do most...:confused3

yes, i remember there is an option for that. but its better if you gun for a certain one and see where they put you.

We'd do the low tech swamp cooler method. Blue Ice Blocks in front of a fan to get cool air back to the bedroom since our wall AC was in the dining room of all places. It managed to keep the living room almost cool but not really.

It's a funny thing about old apartments in Orange. Sweltering during the Summer and freezing During the Winter. We had these lousy heaters in the wall that didn't really do anything except stink up the place so we'd just wrap ourselves in blankets. The termometer usually read about 54 inside our apartment until Summer would roll around then it would hover in the mid 80's with the AC on unless you were sitting in front of it. Spring and Autumn would have been a nice break but we didn't see either that year. We had 80's and 90's from March through December. Needless to say we felt slightly cheated on our last year living in California though it did make it easy to leave.
